Safe pick for the public's approval. Very accurate passer. Lots of POTENTIAL upside. The negatives are he is very inexperienced in a pro style offense. Has not had to read defense's, and has gotten season ending injuries because he did not recognize blitzes. Cannot step in and start right away which means the Rams could end up with this pick again. C+
(2) Lions Suh, Ndamukong DT 6'4" 307 Nebraska
Ndamakong Suh. The name says it all. How can he be anything but Great with that name. Once in a generation Defensive Tackle. The consensus top player in the draft. The Lions have the player who can control the line of scrimmage against Brett Favre, Adrian Peterson and Aaron Rodgers. Reminds me of Portland/Seattle draft in the NBA where Oden who has the most upside went first and Kevin Durant who is now a top 3 NBA player fell into Seattle's lap. A+
(3) Buccaneers McCoy, Gerald DT 6'4" 295 Oklahoma
Only concievable player to be taken here. Perfect for Tampa 2 defense. Could possibly be a Warren Sap game changing type of player. A-
(4) Redskins Williams, Trent OT 6'5" 315 Oklahoma
Only concievable player taken here as well. As in the first scene of the movie "The Blindside", after you buy the house (franchise quarterback), you next buy the house insurance (Left Tackle). Washington could possibly from last in their division to first with this pick and second rounder Donovan Mcnabb. A
(5) Chiefs Berry, Eric SS 6'0" 211 Tennessee
Could be the sexiest pick of the draft. Safeties 10 years ago were thought of as athletes who were to slow to play corner and not as athletic and inconceivable in the first 5 picks. Because of Safeties like Troy Polamalu, Ed Reed, Brian Dawkins, Rodney Harrison, Safeties are now thought of cornerstones of great NFL defenses. Exactly what Kansas City needed in a pass happy AFC West. A+
(6) Seahawks Okung, Russell OT 6'5" 307 Oklahoma State
Pete Carroll's first draft pick will set him at the left tackle spot for the next 10 years. Walter Jones' heir apparrent, hopefully he can open holes to create some Shaun Alexander type holes. A-
(7) Browns Haden, Joe CB 5'11" 193 Florida
Mike Holmgren shows his genius through this draft. Haden instantly makes this team better, and addresses the teams biggest need area.The idea is for Haden to unleash "The Cracken" on the NFL recievers. A
(8) Raiders McClain, Rolando LB 6'3" 254 Alabama
Oakland might finally have figured out how to choose the best available player along with team need. A lot of people do not like this pick, but I think he could dominate like former SEC linebacker and current 49er Patrick Willis. A
(9) Bills Spiller, C.J. RB 5'11" 196 Clemson
Very questionable pick to start off the Chan Gailey era. CJ Spiller could be the most attractive pick in the draft, but does not address glaring needs in the other 21 starters. With Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch already there, I question if this team is keeping up with the rest of the AFC East who have gotten dramatically better this off season. I'll give Buffalo a generous grade only because of Spiller's "Potential'. Who will block for him? I dont know. C
(10) Jaguars Alualu, Tyson DE 6'3" 295 California
I do not doubt that Jacksonville absolutely loves Alualu. I do not doubt that could turn into a dominate player. I question why they "reached" for him so early. Its easy to see that the Jaguars do not know how to work the draft and come out as winners. Alualu would have definitely been there in the late first-2nd rounds, they could have easily traded down, gotten a second round pick, and still have their man in Alualu. Jack Del Rio needs to take lessons from the Broncos and Patriots and how to manipulate the draft and build your team. Can I apply for The Jacksonville GM positon. Teams traded up for picks 12 and 13 which the Jaguars could have fielded offers for. D
(11) 49ers (From Bears through Broncos) Davis, Anthony OT 6'5" 323 Rutgers
Mike Singletary wants Winners! "We go out, we hit people in the mouth! #1". Exactly what a big strong OT like Anthony Davis will bring to the table. Alex Smith is a very happy man with Davis and Staley being his bodyguards on the gridiron. A
(12) Chargers (From Dolphins) Mathews, Ryan RB 6'0" 218 Fresno State
Moved up extremely high for Mathews. Houston at pick 20 had strong feelings for Mathews so GM AJ Smith pulled the trigger and got his man. I do not question the pick, I do question how far and what they had to give up to get him. Filled a team need, the heir apparrent to Ladanian Tomlinson who is also out of the WAC is a complete back, and a great compliment to Phillip Rivers and their spectacular ariel attack

(13) Eagles (From 49ers through Broncos) Graham, Brandon DE 6'1" 268 Michigan
The Broncos traded this pick because they felt like the players they wanted would still be on the board when they draft again. Wake up Jacksonville. Philadelphia obviously traded up to get this sack specialist for one specific reason, to go out and sack Donovan Mcnabb. Great Strategy for Andy Reid, lets hope he turns out better than Derrick Morgan and Jason Pierre Paul who they passed on, and would have been available at their original spot. B
(14) Seahawks (From Broncos) Thomas, Earl SS 5'10" 208 Texas
Speculation that Seattle wanted to take Jimmy Clausen with this pick, however with Earl Thomas still available, who was probably the fastest rising player on many team's draft board, they could not pass on him. Smart move on Seattle's part, if Jimmy Clausen turns out to be an average QB. A
(15) Giants Pierre-Paul, Jason DE 6'5" 270 South Florida
The "Freak" of the draft. I think they really had hoped that Earl Thomas would fall in their lap. Their secondary and linebacking core needs much more help than their D line. But with this pick, if Osi keeps being bench, it allows Justin Tuck to move inside where he can dominate. B
(16) Titans Morgan, Derrick DE 6'3" 266 Georgia Tech
The Titans have their Perseus. No one predicted that Derrick Morgan would still be available and fortunate would be an understatement for Tennessee. A
(17) 49ers (From Panthers) Iupati, Mike OG 6'5" 331 Idaho
Frank Gore is smiling. Mike Singletary is taking care of this offense. A mammoth guard who can open holes like Larry Allen did. Alex Smith is still their man, I thought this might have been Jimmy Clausen, I guess Mike Singletary wants to win NOW! B-
(18) Steelers Pouncey, Maurkice C 6'4" 304 Florida
Another Bodyguard for Ben Roethlisburger? Pouncey is a versatile OL who can open holes for Mendenhall while they wait for Ben to stop being Big Ben and just be Ben. B
(19) Falcons Weatherspoon, Sean LB 6'1" 239 Missouri
They really loved Weatherspoon, how else could they have ignored the Cornerbacks and Defensive Lineman still available. B-
(20) Texans Jackson, Kareem CB 5'10" 196 Alabama
Rex Ryan can send a huge thank you card to Houston for taking Kareem Jackson and leaving Kyle Wilson still on the board. I really hope Kareem Jackson proves my statement wrong. He has the physical tools, and will be tested against the Colts, Jaguars, and Titans. Good strategy to help their secondary first as this draft is deep with running backs for the later round. B-
(21) Bengals Gresham, Jermaine TE 6'5" 261 Oklahoma
Possibly the most predictable pick in the draft. Carson Palmer's has another weapon for his 4th quarter heroics. A big target in a tough NFC North, exactly what Cincinatti needs. B+
(22) Broncos (From Patriots) Thomas, Demaryius WR 6'3" 224 Georgia Tech
To say Captain Mcdaniels will build his team on morals is as obvious as saying that San Diego likes to throw the ball. Dez Bryant was probably not even on their draft board, Demaryius Thomas certainly has the size to excell, but their qb's have average arms so who will give him the ball on the deep out? C+
(23) Packers Bulaga, Bryan OT 6'5" 314 Iowa
The Packers need to stop Jared Allen. The Packers need to get their division back. The Packers need to beat Brett Favre. The might have drafted exactly what they need to accomplish all that. Aaron Rodgers is a top 5 QB in the league, and he will stay upright a little more with this pick. A
(24) Cowboys (From Eagles through Broncos and Patriots) Bryant, Dez WR 6'2" 225 Oklahoma State
What Jerry Jones wants, Jerry Jones gets. Cowboy fans should send thank you cards to the Broncos for passing on this talent because of a tiny incident. He is a top 10 talent who fell to the early 20's, does that remind you of anyone? Randy Moss, who Jerry Jones passed on, then kicked himself, and then vowed to never pass on that situation again if he ever had another chance. A+
(25) Broncos (From Ravens) Tebow, Tim QB 6'3" 236 Florida
Broncos move into the first round and select Tim Tebow. America is in love with him, but good feelings do not win football games. Everyone works hard to get into the NFL, thats why they're in the NFL. This pick will now be married to Josh Mcdaniels career. What i question is why did they move back so early to draft him. He would have been available all the way up untill Buffalo with the 9th pick in the second round. Could possibly the answer to the Bronco's earlier pick. C-
(26) Cardinals Williams, Dan DT 6'2" 327 Tennessee
The Ripple effects of the trades earlier in the draft make Ken Whisenhunt a very happy man. San Francisco and Seattle draft 3 offensive lineman between them? Lets go get a top rated Defensive Tackle to even the score. B+
(27) Patriots (From Cowboys) McCourty, Devin CB 5'11" 193 Rutgers
Bill Belichik is always the smartest guy in the room. Bill Belichik is an unparalled genius. He drafts 2 spots in front of the Jets and take Devin McCourty over Kyle Wilson? Any other coach would be questioned, but Bill Belichick is the one that does the questioning in this league. He must know something we dont know. B
(28) Dolphins (From Chargers) Odrick, Jared DT 6'5" 304 Penn State
Bill Parcells has done a wonderful job with this team. I think they are the front runners in the AFC East with their off season acquisitions. Last season they had a big lead on New Orleans, and the Jets. Jared Odrick will be compared to Dan Williams because thats who the Dolphins could have had with the 12th pick had they not traded out of it. Odrick fills the biggest void on their defense. B
(29) Jets Wilson, Kyle CB 5'10" 194 Boise State
The Jets like to blitz. The Jets need cover corners for their blitz. The Jets get what they need. The Jets get an A. How dangerous is this defense going to be next year? Revis, Cromartie, and Wilson. Should we all be taking notes? A
(30) Lions (From Vikings) Best, Jahvid RB 5'10" 199 California
Would Minnesota, Indy, NO, or St. Louis picked Jahvid Best? I could not picture those teams picking Best, so i wonder why Detroit moved up 4 spots to pick Best. He does bring an electric element to an anemic offense. C+
(31) Colts Hughes, Jerry DE 6'2" 255 TCU
Bill Polian gets a verrry underated playmaker. Mel Kiper said this is a deep draft, indeed it is. How hard is it to come back in the 4th quarter with Jerry Hughes, Dwight Freeney, and Mathis rushing your QB?

(32) Saints Robinson, Patrick CB 5'11" 190 Florida State
Gregg Williams likes to blitz. Gregg Williams needs cover corners to blitz. Gregg Williams makes the defending SuperBowl champs even harder to beat. Rex Ryan and Gregg Williams have 2 of the best defensive minds in the NFL, they both draft corners, should we all be taking notes? B+
